Networking A Very Important But Often Overlooked Strategy For Job Hunting

Networking is a necessary and very desirable habit to get into when looking for employment.

Remember you have a good number of friends, neighbors and relatives as well as former co-workers who may not remember you when they stumble upon a job opportunity that would be just right for you.

Therefore you need to be making all of your acquaintances aware of your employment needs so they will steer you to any employment opportunities that they learn about.

True you have to watch the papers and the internet for job opportunities daily but it helps to have ten or fifteen partners out watching for opportunities for you as well.

Once they realize that you are in need of a job, your name will automatically come to mind the next time they hear of, are see a good job opportunity that might suit you.

The people you know may not realize it is a group effort to find you a job but the results will astound you when the offers start coming in.

In the meantime I am listing all of the links here in one place for you to shop for a great job in your area on line.

There are literally thousands of jobs here to go through and there is bound to be a few that you would both qualify for as well enjoy doing.

The following links were posted in earlier post on this blog but I am putting them all in one place so you can easily find them.

I would suggest that you read some of the other post here on the blog, especially if it has been a while since you have looked for a job.

Also if you are new to job searching you will get a good education on how to go about finding and actually getting a job in this economy.

The employment links I recommend:

Jobsdb.us
Snagajob.com

Workforce50.com

Job-hunt.org

www.aarp.org/work/job-hunting

Also if you are a salesperson or wanting to get into sales you can look at my other blog, not for job opportunities per say but for information on how to be a great salesperson.
